Myakka State Park Cabin, Pavilion and Restroom Renovation

In 2014, DEC Contracting Group, Inc. helped improve five deteriorating cabins at Myakka State Park in Sarasota County, Florida. The project also included an extensive renovation of the park’s restrooms and central pavilion.

DEC Contracting Group, Inc.’s experienced team carefully raised the buildings by a total of 18 inches. Our contractors also constructed new foundations, reconnected all utilities and improved accessibility for visitors. Our certified technicians paid meticulous attention while performing structural and exterior repairs to ensure nothing compromised the historic integrity of the restored cabins.
