Community Facility Construction in Immokalee

This project involved the turnkey construction of a new 4,500-square-foot community center. The scope of work included concrete block and cast-in-place concrete, carpentry, a TPO roofing system with insulation, storefront windows and doors, interior doors with hardware, metal-framed interior walls, drywall, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

The project was partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), requiring strict adherence to federal guidelines, including Davis–Bacon wage rate standards and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goals. DEC Contracting implemented a robust compliance program, with detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, ensuring full accountability and verification of all federal requirements.

The project was delivered successfully, meeting all construction and compliance standards while providing the community with a modern, functional facility.
