Collier County Sheriff’s Substation Wins 2017 Summit Award
DEC Contracting Group, Inc. Recognized for Excellent Police Work
When exceptional organizations partner together, the result is often award-winning. In 2017, DEC Contracting Group, Inc. completed the ground-up construction of a substation for the Collier County Sheriff Department, which subsequently landed the 2017 Summit Award for Best Commercial Contractors’ Project in the Public Works category.
As Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk likes to say, it all comes down to “service to others before self.” DEC Contracting Group agrees wholeheartedly with this philosophy, which is reflected in the quality and integrity of our work. The team worked especially hard to maintain a high level of confidentiality, in order to protect the officers and others who now work in this building. By doing this, they also delivered an excellent customer experience.
DEC’s team of contractors used concrete masonry unit (CMU) construction, installing impact windows, a generator, bullet-resistant walls and doors, septic system, RO water treatment and a strong metal roof. It’s no wonder that construction this solid won an award!
